  • What is the website design process from start to finish?

    Collapse
    Expand

We start by discussing your business goals, target audience, and website needs. Once we finalize the scope, I design and build your website on PageCloud, ensuring it aligns with your brand and functions smoothly.

The process includes basic SEO setup, site analytics, and, depending on the package, stock graphics and blog integration. Once complete, I launch the site and provide guidance on managing updates.

All websites take 1-3 weeks from the start date, depending on availability. The start date does not get queued until payment is received and the client intake form is completed. As projects come in and are paid in full, they get placed on the schedule.

  • What are client responsibilities?

    Expand

Clients are responsible for providing content, including text, images, and branding materials unless arranged otherwise. You’ll also need a domain name. To purchase a domain via NameCheap, see details below, and you'll need to select a PageCloud plan. If you need assistance, I can walk you through the process to make it easier.

You will also need to renew your domain yearly if purchased separately via NameCheap. Optional costs may include additional design services or premium third-party tools.

  • How do you handle the domain name registration?

    Collapse
    Expand

I prefer using NameCheap for domain registration because of its affordability and flexibility. You have three options:

    • I can purchase the domain for you to get started and transfer ownership later.
    • You can purchase it and grant me temporary access to adjust DNS settings.
    • I can walk you through it—it's quick and simple. No matter which method you choose, I ensure your domain is properly connected to your PageCloud website.

  • What is the logo design process?

    Collapse
    Expand

My logo design process is focused on crafting a brand identity that reflects your business. Here’s how it generally works:

    Initial Contact & Discovery

    • We start with an email or call where you share basic details about your business.
    • We schedule an in-depth conversation to discuss your company’s goals, brand personality, and target audience.

    Brand Questionnaire & Conversation

    • I ask about your preferred colors, design styles, and how you want your brand to be perceived.
    • We review your company’s profile, competitors, and market positioning to identify opportunities.

    Defining Project Scope & Strategy

    • We confirm the project scope and deliverables, such as a basic logo or a full branding package.
    • Timelines and revision rounds are established.

    Concept Development

    • I create draft logo concepts, presenting different visual directions.
    • You select a concept, and we discuss refinements.

    Revisions & Refinement

    • The chosen concept undergoes refinement, adjusting colors, typography, and composition.
    • Premium packages may include additional logo variations, submarks, or alternative orientations.

    Finalization & Delivery

    • Approved logos are provided in multiple formats (.png, .jpg, .pdf, .eps) for Standard and Premium logos, native .ai file is included.
    • A brand guide is included if applicable, outlining colors, typography, and logo usage guidelines.

    Brand Launch & Ongoing Support

    • If you need additional assets like business cards or social media graphics, I can design them based on your new branding.
    • Ongoing design support is available if needed.
  • What file formats do I receive with my final logo?

    Collapse
    Expand

When your logo is finalized, you’ll receive it in several file formats, each serving a specific purpose. Here’s a simple breakdown:

    • PNG (.png) – A high-quality image with a transparent background. Best for web use, social media, and digital marketing because it maintains clarity without a background.
    • JPG (.jpg or .jpeg) – A compressed image file that’s smaller in size. Ideal for websites, presentations, and general sharing, but it doesn’t support transparency.
    • PDF (.pdf) – A print-friendly file that keeps everything sharp. Great for printing business cards, flyers, and documents while preserving design quality.
    • EPS (.eps) – A scalable vector file used by printers and designers for high-quality prints. Ideal for t-shirts, signage, and large-format prints since it can be resized without losing quality.
    • AI (.ai) – The original Adobe Illustrator file is offered for premium packages. This is a fully editable format used by graphic designers for advanced modifications. If you ever need adjustments or branding updates, this file is essential.

If you’re not sure which file type you need for a specific use, I’ll guide you on the best option!

  • Do you offer SEO services?

    Collapse

All websites are built with SEO best practices, including proper meta tags, image optimization, and clean URL structures. Premium website packages include advanced SEO setup.

The difference between SEO Best Practices and Advanced SEO Setup comes down to the depth of optimization and strategy applied to your website. Here’s how they compare:

SEO Best Practices (Included in All Website Packages)

This is the foundational SEO setup that ensures your website is properly structured for search engines like Google. It includes:

Clean URL structure – Ensuring your website links are logical and easy to read (e.g., yourwebsite.com/services instead of yourwebsite.com/page?id=123).

Meta Titles & Descriptions – Crafting page titles and descriptions that accurately describe your content and improve click-through rates.

Proper Heading Usage (H1, H2, H3, etc.) – Structuring your content with correct heading tags to make it easier for search engines to understand.

Image Optimization – Compressing images and adding alt text so they load faster and contribute to SEO.

Mobile-Friendly Design – Ensuring the site is fully responsive and works well on all screen sizes.

Page Speed Optimization – Using best practices to improve load times (compressing files, reducing unused scripts, etc.).

Basic Keyword Placement – Ensuring primary keywords are naturally incorporated into page content.

Advanced SEO Setup (Included in Premium Websites)

This goes beyond the basics and focuses on deeper optimization, keyword research, and content strategy to improve search rankings. It includes:

Custom Keyword Research – Identifying specific keywords that your target audience is searching for and optimizing pages accordingly.

Competitor SEO Analysis – Analyzing how competitors rank and adjusting strategies to outperform them

Internal Linking Strategy – Structuring links between pages in a way that improves SEO and keeps users engaged longer.

Local SEO Enhancements – Setting up Google My Business profiles and optimizing for location-based searches (ideal for businesses with a physical presence).

Content Optimization for SEO – Reviewing and refining page content to improve readability, engagement, and keyword relevance.

AI-Generated Blog Posts (5 included in Premium Websites) – Pre-written, SEO-friendly articles to help establish authority and improve rankings.

    Which One Do You Need?

If you just need a well-built website that follows Google’s basic SEO guidelines, SEO Best Practices is enough.

If you’re serious about climbing search rankings, competing for organic traffic, and leveraging content for SEO, Advanced SEO Setup is the better choice.
